你不能改变自然的风，但你可以控制自己的帆

　　You are unable to change the direction of the wind, but able to control your sail. 

　　青藏高原山脉是地球最突出的边缘线，在高原那蔚蓝的天空中飘着一朵洁白的云彩，他静寂地俯视着大地的一切生灵,安谧抚摩着大地的每个生命。他为大地上的人们祈福，他叫“祥云”。

　　The mountain chain on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the showiest edge of the earth. A whitish cloud is floating high in the blue sky, looking down at and comforting all living things. It is called “Lucky cloud” because it prays for good fortune for people in the earth.        

　　在茫茫的大地上远行，如果你抬头能看见天空挂着一片白云，此时你的心情不会觉得孤独、恐惧…….。

　　While on a long journey neither loneliness nor fear will come over you as you rise your head and see a patch of cloud in the sky.

　　天气寒冷又下起小雨，窗外一名墙面清洗工正大楼至上而下地缓缓降落, 洗涮着我画室外的大窗玻璃。彼此对视，我看着外面的他够辛苦，他瞅着里面的我好安逸。其实，窗外的他未必不快活，里面的我未必多轻松…….,于是我完成了这幅作品。

　　It is cold and rains. A wall-cleaner is lowering slowly from the top of the building and just now is washing windows outside my studio. We are looking at each other. I think he is very hard outside the room while he thinks I am very easy inside the room. As a matter of fact, however, it may not be right to think so. And then I finished this picture.   

　　结构平面错位，时空打破界线，，让超越时代又赋予相同使命的人物融合胶着成一个整体，昨天和今天汇于一个平面，营造一种视觉错位和空间转换的图式新颖感。

　　Plane structure is in misplacement; relation between time and space is disordered; let people who live in different times but take on the same mission to be mixed in a picture; to put the past and the present in one tableau; to produce the original sense of picture with vision misplacement and space transformation.       

　　十几年前的云南丽江之行，曾聆听了惊为“天赖”的纳西古乐，老人和古乐，天作和一，一种天然的美随着音符缓缓流淌……我将这感动蕴积至今,一旦勃发，便有了这幅《岁月的旋律》。这是一种简单的、原生态的模拟再现。而在画面营造中，充斥了一种光影叠叠，时光闪烁的效果，运用写实而平面构成的处理手法，将一组正在演奏的老人有节奏地呈现在画面上，也呈现出岁月的绵延，如同乐声的起伏，充满了有意味的象征，倾诉了我的那份真实的心弦

　　A dozen years ago, on the trip to Lijiang of Yunnan I listened ancient music of Naxi, which was called “sounds of nature”; the pretty of nature, combining old men with ancient music, is slowly shown along with the flow of musical notes … And then I produced this picture “The melody of the years”. It’s a simple and original reappearance by imitation. But, there is full of light and time effects in the tableau; using the way of plane structure, I arranged a group of old men who are playing in the picture to the rhythm of music, showing the continuance of the years symbolically and giving expression to my true feelings.   

　　个性总是和个人的经历阅历有着千丝万缕的联系——所以它是感性和理性交织的产物。

　　The personality has innumerable ties with one’s experiences, and so, it is the combination of the perceptual and the rational.

　　风格是画家被用作对自身艺术语言定位的一种经过深思熟虑后的习惯表达方式。

　　The style is a way of expression used by a painter after repeated deliberations on position of the art language of his own.

　　“设计”这个词的原意指计划或目的。画家就是造型艺术的设计师，他在画纸上实现心中的“真实”世界。

　　The word “design” means originally plan or purpose. A painter is just a designer of plastic arts and able to realize a “real” world of his heart in the tincture.

　　军号-----是军人的语言，是冲锋的号角，是胜利的凯歌。

　　Bugle sounds in langue of soldiers, call to charge, and the song of triumph.

　　我奉行这样的处事态度，一切都应当从开始来开始。

　　“Starting everything from its starting point” is my way of life in society.

　　学会量力而行的勤奋，懂得应对现实的态度。

　　Learning to do what my strength allows and understanding how to deal with reality.

　　执着是一切理想、进取、成功的动力，但过度执着又是一切杂念、痛苦、失败的根源。

　　The inflexibleness is necessary for all ideals, progresses and successes, but the over-inflexibleness would lead to pains and failures.

　　“完美”是人的奢望，放弃一点“完美”,人生才能更自然、更自如。

　　“Perfect” is an unrealizable wild wish; only to give up a little of this wild wish, can we be more natural and easier.  

　　绘画如同人生，从无到有，从小变大，从浅入深，从弱为强。

　　Painting is just like one’s life, changing from nothing to something, from the small to the big, from the easy to the difficult, and from the weak to the strong.

　　平缓悠远，含蓄深邃，是我探寻水墨的境界。

　　Mild and profound as well as reserved and abstruse are artistic conceptions which I am looking for in wash painting.

　　讲仁意、施善德、知恩报、尽人事、听天命。

　　Being of humanity and kindness, repaying a favor, doing all that is humanly possible and leaving the rest to God.  

　　作品不仅仅是取悦人，更在于能充分表达自我的情感，确立自我艺术价值的去向。

　　Artistic works are not to cater to the taste of others, but to express feelings of myself and fix the orientation of art value. 

　　以古为镜，可知本原； 以师为镜，可明得失；以变为镜，可得自我。

　　Taking the history as a mirror, you will know the origin of the world; taking the teacher as a mirror, you will realize gains and losses; taking the change as a mirror, you will 

　　一位圣人说：我用手指向月亮，是让你看见月亮，而不是看到我的手指。

　　A sage said: when I point at the moon, I hope you to see the moon instead of my fingers.

　　绍兴柯桥，是姑妈经常摇着小船过往的桥，父母童年无数次走过的桥……,现在我站在柯桥上的桥，感到了亲情的温存，故乡的可爱…..。

　　I am standing on Keqiao Bridge in Shaoxing, under which my aunt rocked the boat to-and-fro and on which my parents walked innumerably… And now I am standing here, feeling the warm of native land … 

　　新鲜事物确能引发你的好奇心，但细心俎嚼身边那些熟视无睹习以为常的事物，多留个心眼，换个思维角度，能为你生发许多真切的灵感。

　　Something new will arouse you keen interest, and something old around you will also give you true inspiration if you shift your angle of thinking.   

　　我在画水墨人体时，喜欢把水墨那不确定性的微妙痕迹渗化在简约概括的平面结构中。

　　I like to make uncertain trace of ink soak into simple plane structure when I draw figures in wash paintings. 

　　绘画是符号语言，平面构成就是现代符号的语言。

　　Painting is a symbol language; plane structure is modern symbol language.

　　写实手法不只是相似对象，而是正确刻画对象的主要特征，表现出对象一种深刻的相似性。

　　The realistic style of painting is not just to draw the same as the subject, but to give a correct description of main characteristics and to show an in-depth similarity. 

　　我相信绘画就是画家满足心灵情感的寄托，来营造自我的精神家园。

　　I believe that painting is to have spiritual sustenance and a spiritual home for a painter.  

　　失败或者是成功，我认为这是一回事的正反二个面，失败时从容面对，成功时矜持接受。

　　I think both failure and success are two sides of one thing, facing the former with calm and unworried, and the latter with restrained.

　　远足过沙漠，方能知道平原的珍贵，经历过风雨，方能感触彩虹的美妙。

　　We will value plain only after taking a long trip on desert; and we will
be aware of beautiful rainbow only after wind and rain.

　　体验人生奋斗过程的快意，跨越更高的标杆，你的生活因此而美丽，生命因此而富有价值。

　　Your life will be beautiful and valuable if you have a pleasant experience in your ceaseless striving.
